3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM
Three-Year-Old Curriculum continues to reinforce the skills taught in the Two-Year-Old Program while introducing new academic skills.

Academics
We stress recognition of the child’s name in print and start teaching the writing techniques to write their name. We encourage the children to rote count to at least 5 and introduce more shapes through art and puzzles.
Fine Motor Skills
Through different play activities we work on increasing the strength of hand muscles to begin properly holding scissors and crayons.

Show-N-Tell
We allow children to bring in items from home once a week to share with the class. This encourages verbal skills and helps increase confidence when speaking to a group of their peers.
Music
Throughout each day, children will have an opportunity to practice singing, rhythm and gross motor skills (movement/dance). They will learn fun seasonal songs as well as old favorites. They will perform for their families at their Spring Circus.
Library
Each week children will attend a parent-lead story time in the library and be allowed to check out books!
