3 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Three-Year-Old Curriculum continues to reinforce the skills taught in the 2 year program while introducing new academic skills.

Academics
We stress recognition of the child’s name in print and start teaching the writing techniques to write their name. We encourage the children to rote count to at least 5 and introduce more shapes thru art and puzzles.

Gross Motor Skills for Handwriting:
Through different play activities we work on increase the strength of hand muscles to begin properly holding a pencil.

Music
Children will attend music class weekly with a trained music teacher. They learn fun seasonal songs as well as old favorites.

Show-N-Tell
We allow children to bring in items from home once a week to share with the class. This encourages verbal skills and helps increase confidence when speaking to a group of their peers.

Library
Weekly students will head to the library for story-time lead by parents and may check out books!

Class size: maximum 15 students

Children must be potty trained
